There was a Bashas’ location at 28th drive & Cactus at one time. I happened to be there and walked in at the same time as Eddie Basha, Jr. I watched him walk up to the deli on the left and engage the young man behind the counter in conversation. The young man had no idea who he was speaking with but had a good conversation. Then Eddie spoke with a produce team member who DID know who he was…. Eddie was the same no matter who he was speaking with. Built a solid company too! I said hello and thanked him for letting me see a true leader learning from his people!
